Melissa Kluger

Melissa is the editor and publisher of PrecedentJD. She is a Toronto lawyer. She articled at Bay Street firm Cassels, Brock & Blackwell LLP and spent two months on a secondment at the criminal law office of Edward L. Greenspan. After being called to the Bar in 2002, Melissa practiced media law with one of Canada’s leading lawyers in the field. Her work included libel litigation, pre-publication advice and freedom of expression issues.

As a law student at the University of Toronto, Melissa created Ultra Vires — the law school’s independent student newspaper. The publication received national media attention for its investigative reporting.
